Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): The ‘Tetso Interdisciplinary Journal’ (TIJ) has invited submission of research papers for publication on its eighth volume.
TIJ (ISSN 2319 - 2925) is a peer reviewed annual publication of Tetso College, Dimapur, aimed at providing an ideal platform for academicians, teachers, and research scholars to publish research articles/papers, critical summaries or literary theories on matters of academic concern, world-issues or topics that push the boundaries of the human mind to rethink, question, explore, and to objectively seek solutions to existing problems.
A press release from Tetso College informed that the TIJ editorial team has selected ‘Popular Culture’ as the theme for the forthcoming issue. The special issue of the journal will also commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the college.
Authors may submit research papers or manuscripts dealing with theoretical, methodological, empirical and application-based findings pertaining to areas of Social Sciences and Humanities, Commerce, and the Sciences in reference to theme, it said.
The writings must be of original research and reflect quality scholarship and the last date for receiving submissions is November 17.
Elaborating on the theme, the release informed that the next TIJ’s issue will take a look at popular culture and its interaction with various walks of life.
Suggested topics and approaches include, but are not limited to, the following: Popular culture and latest trends in education; Popular culture and its political implications; Popular culture and developments in literature; Popular culture and its commercial connotations; Popular culture and society; Popular culture and the fashion industry; Popular culture and trends in television and cinema; Popular culture and food culture; and Popular culture and the development of language.
