Award conferred in field of curriculum development and instructional material preparation
Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): Dialogue India sponsored Education Conclave held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), New Delhi declared The Global Open University Nagaland (TGOUN) as the Best University of the Year Award in the area of curriculum development and instructional material preparation. The day long programme was attended by participants from all over the country.
A press release issued by Dialogue India Press Secretariat stated that the Best University of the Year Award in the area of curriculum development and academic material preparation was presented by the chief guest, Krishna Raj, Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India in the presence of Gen. G.D. Bakshi, Defence Analyst, Dr. Vineet Narayan, President, Braj Foundation, Prof. S.K. Atreya, Chief Design Engineer, IIT Delhi and Anuj Agarwal, Convener, Education Conclave 2018 and Chief Editor, Dialogue India.
After receiving the award, Dr. SN Pandey, Pro Chancellor of The Global Open University Nagaland while discussing and responding to the award said that all efforts will be made soon to make this university a world class university by launching new projects and programmes specially in the area of mental health, drug de-addiction, yoga, naturopathy, paramedical sciences, counseling, psychotherapy etc.
Dr. Pandey further added that his main priority will be to assist the Chancellor T.N. Mannen besides working in close association with the Vice Chancellor Dr. H.N. Dutta and the Registrar Dr. Imotemsu Ao with a view to achieving the milestone set out by the university.
