Mokokchung, August 11 (MExN): The Trail Hounds Cycling Club has invited cyclists to participate in an adventurous ride to Longkhum Village scheduled for August 25. Longkhum Village is a tourist destination known for its stone bridge - Longlangba, Eagle's Cave - Mongzü Ki. In present times, the village is the leading vegetable producer in Nagaland with an annual production capacity of 320 Metric Tonnes of tomatoes, 32 MT of small potatoes, 33 MT of chillies and 71 MT of cabbage, a press release from the club claimed. The village was declared as the “Vegetable Village of Nagaland” by the Nagaland Government in 2004. Registration for the event will be free of cost and lunch will also be provided at the village.
