The 41st Aghunaqa Area GB’s Trophy kicked off at Viqheto village at Aghunaqa under Niuland District, with Minister Jacob Zhimomi PHED, as the guest of honour on October 31. Minister Zhimomi in his speech appealed to the youths to take sports as an opportunity, not just a hobby but it is a time to pursue sports as a career and contribute to nation-building. “Our Naga youths have started a new revolution in the field of business and marketing, applauding the young people and recognising them as important contributors to our society today,” he stated. The programme started with opening ceremony by Hukai Village youths, followed by cultural dance and folk songs Tokishe and Viqheto villages.
