Dimapur, August 28 (MExN): Following their debut album ‘Modern Naga,’ The Gluttones are all set to take their music across the state with the “Modern Naga Tour: Nagaland” this September. The tour will feature performances alongside artists including Eva Rongmei, Shau Evans and several others.
Currently touring Northeast India, The Gluttones will return to Nagaland upon completion of their ongoing tour to embark on a musical journey across Mokokchung, Wokha, Kohima and Dimapur. The tour will include performances at colleges and community venues across the four districts bringing contemporary Naga music closer to young audiences and local communities.
The tour aims to celebrate contemporary Naga music, culture and creativity. Through live performances and collaborations, it will showcase the diverse and evolving sound of Naga music and provide a platform for both established and emerging artists.
Beyond the music, the tour seeks to encourage cultural exchange, inspire young musicians and contribute to the growth of Nagaland’s independent music scene. It also hopes to create spaces where artists can share their stories, connect with new audiences and encourage young people to explore their own creative voices.
With its focus on music, collaboration and community, the “Modern Naga Tour: Nagaland” hopes to make contemporary Naga music more accessible to audiences across the state while celebrating the creativity and identity of the Naga community.
The tour is supported by BN Sound, Frequency Hub, Blue Table Production and Moaki Homestay.
