The process of withdrawal of Assam and Nagaland police forces from their posts at the disputed border village of Aosenden that began yesterday has been completed on August 1. Dismantling of all structures and withdrawal of police forces was done in the presence of Additional SP of Jorhat, SDPO Titapar, Border Magistrate of Mariani and OC Mariani police station representing the Assam side while Additional SP of Mokokchung, SDPO Mangkolemba and Border Magistrate of Merangmen represented Nagaland.
