The Tent: First English Service in Tseminyu dist launched

Tseminyu, September 25 (MExN): The first English Service in Tseminyu district called ‘The Tent’, an initiative of the Council of Rengma Baptist Churches (CRBC) was formally launched on September 25 by Rev Haiwalo Apon, Executive Secretary, CRBC at the Rengma Hoho Office Conference Hall, Tseminyu Town.

With ‘A Bible-Centered Community that equip and empower believers to serve God’ as its vision, The Tent, Tseminyu Town English Fellowship was initiated especially for mixed marriages and people from other tribes and communities. 

Jonathan Mesen, Secretary, Youth Department who led the Worship through songs during the launch service said, “it is for an inclusive community and a place of worship for anyone looking to worship regardless of tribe and background.” “Anyone who understands English are most welcome to the Fellowship,” he said.

Rev Kedo Peseyie, Pastor, City Church Kohima shared the Word of God while Athong Khing, Pastor, Tseminyu Town Baptist Church said the closing prayer.
