Quite some years ago, an unknown person was abducted and imprisoned by a Muslim Extremists Group in a distant land just for being white in his skin color, the color of the majority people of the country the Abductors were deadly against.
The prisoner, incarcerated for being in the wrong country at a wrong time, was wrongly suspected of being a member of Intelligence Agency but only on suspicion. He was kept in prison for many years.
An unknown Christian Priest volunteered to replace the Prisoner. The Priest was imprisoned and the etiolated Abducted prisoner was released to his very grateful and happy Wife and Children. The Priest remained in prison for many years and finally got out. Humble human beings imbibed with the Spirit of the true God are capable of rising to the great heights of noblest actions expected mostly from Leaders.
Quite sometime back, I was very sore with a foremost Angami leader for his advice to the Angami Community to remain Neutral between two Communities, when one member of one despicably wrongly took the life of another from the other community and the aggrieved Community passed a notice to the other community to vacate the area to avoid mob violence.
This is a Traditional Customary Honor (Themou) required of the Culprit to do for the Honor of the Dead. Instead, the Culprit Party passed Dead Sentence to the Aggrieved Leaders for the action. Nothing is more appalling!

Neutrality is a very desirable pure Principle but to remain Neutral at the contest between Good and Evil is to appear beautiful in the outside but to be Sly inside. To give appreciation for the deeds of the Right and the Wrong equally is to be very wisely wrong.
A Society goes wrong not because of Evil Man alone but for the Good to remain silent at Evil.
This may have a great lesson for Nagas today particularly to those who have gained knowledge from the Black Board alone. There is a better black board and that is life itself.
For the past one week I received SMS and phone calls a little more than normal supporting me for my beliefs stated in the News Media. I am greatly encouraged: yes, not only because they supported me but because I could see a germination of earnestness and resoluteness in the new generation to speak with Conviction, Reality and a nascent freedom from fear of the barrel of the Gun, the nemesis of the Nagas for a long time past.
This curse of the Barrel of the Gun on the brow of Nagas must be lifted up jointly by individuals and the nameless public for the good of all Nagas, -good and bad!
Listing the names I would like to thank personally in the News Media for those known and unknown who have supported the Ideal I brought out, may tediously impinge on the precious public time and I, in great reluctance, regretfully desist from doing it.
