Third Eye Edu centre launched in Dimapur

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 10 (MExN): Third Eye Infosys Private Ltd., the first ISO certified IT and education company in the North-East Region, opened a centre of Third Eye Education in Dimapur on Monday, the third branch in Nagaland after Mokokchung and Kiphire.
Congress legislator C Apok Jamir who was the chief guest at the inauguration programme, in his address said that apart from other syllabus, IT and computer skills have become the by-word for students as well as professionals who want to advance their careers. The Congress legislator however said that there also “advantages” and “disadvantages” to having access to modern technology and reminded that technology should be applied for welfare of mankind and not for destructive purposes. Apok expressed optimism that the faculty and staff of Third Eye Dimapur would be able to fulfill the need and expectations of the citizens of Dimapur, particularly the students.
Chairman of Nagaland Rural Bank, Sashi Pongener, the guest of honour in the inaugural in his speech also welcomed the opening of the Third Eye branch and said the venture would meet the growing need of IT and computer trained persons in almost every job sector.
Head of Third Eye Infosys, Guwahati, T Phukan who also spoke on the occasion, announced that the company established by local youth has now two divisions – software and education. He said that through dedication and commitment, the company has gained recognition becoming the first ISO certified IT company in the NE region. He also disclosed that Third Eye, registered under STPI, is the first IT firm from NE to export software to the USA.
Third Eye is also empanelled by the North Easter Council to impart employment oriented training to education unemployed youth of NE India.
