DIMAPUR, MAY 31 (MExN): Three bike-lifters, who were fleeing after stealing a motor-cycle, were caught by the police on Friday, May 31. The thieves were caught not long after they had committed the theft. According to police, the trio was caught riding the stolen bike at around 3:00 am at Purana Bazaar during a routine security check. Police identified the trio as Tokavi alias Atovi (22 years), resident of Super Market; Katoka alias Vito (19 years), resident of Power House colony, Nagarjan; and Kika alias Kughashe (18 years), resident of Old Sewak.
The stolen bike was said to have been parked outside a restaurant near the office of the Superintendent of Police, Dimapur. A case under section 379/34 was registered against the three.
