Kohima, March 31 (MExN): The Tikhir tribe recognition celebration day will take place on April 2 at Kiusam town from 10:30 am onwards.
Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will grace the celebration as the special guest while Agriculture & Cooperation Minister, G Kaito Aye will be cultural guest. The celebration will also witness short speeches from Soil & Water Conservation, Geology and Mining Minister, V Kashiho Sangtam, Justice & Law and SCERT Advisor H Chuba Chang, Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Advisor L Khumo, IPR and VG Advisor S Keoshu Yimkhiung, NLA Deputy Speaker, T Yangseo Sangtam, Chief Secretary J Alam and Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO) President, R Tsapikiu
Brief History of Tikhir will be given by Topan K Tikhir, president TTC. SI Asangba, President TGOA, Y Temong Tikhir, President TSU, Kheanmong, Executive Chairman TWA, TJ Khiantsu, President TBBA, K Among Tikhir, kilonser TNW, Thangpong, Head GB Kiusam Town, Ahuse, pioneer leader, Torepkiu, Ex-ACM and N Yutsu, former president TTC will also deliver short speech at the evening session.
