Titans CC were crowned the champions of the30th edition of the T20 Interclub Tournament organised by the Mokokchung District Cricket Association (MDCA) held at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung.
Titans CC beat United Brothers CC in the final match. United Brothers managed to post a total score of 85 runs in 19.3 over. Chasing a score of 86 runs, Titans’ Neehal comfortably hit the half century mark with 56 runs adding to the teams total score of 87 runs. Sentiwapang and Temjenmeren took to the field taking 1 wicket each for the United Brothers but to no avail as Titans ended the match short in 14.4 over with 7 wickets to spare. Titans’ Basant Pradran was awarded the man of the match.
A short closing program was held before the start of the match with Er Chubatoshi, Former President MDCA, as the Chief Patron.
The winners received a cash prize and certificates and the following individual titles were also given:
Man of the tournament: Basant Pradran (Titans CC)
Highest Run Scorer: Imnatoshi (United Brothers CC)
Highest Wicket Taker: Sentiwapang (United Brothers CC)
Most promising Player: Amongti (Tritons CC)
Spirit of the Game: Zungamedem CC
