Dimapur, July 28 (MExN): The Tzürangkong Naga Youth Front (TNYF) on Wednesday stated that it was “extremely disheartened” with the Government of Nagaland for failing to address alleged border encroachment incidents by the Assamese locals and Assam police.

In a press release, the TNYF stated that it had issued several press statements reminding the Government of Nagaland to evict the Assam police personnel stationed inside Nagaland and also to stop fresh encroachments and developments by the Assam counterpart. However, it said that its pleas “had fallen on deaf ears.”
