KOHIMA, JUNE 8 (DIPR): The Principal Secretary & Finance Commissioner, H.K. Khulu has notified that in exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the Nagaland Value Added Tax Act, 2005, the Government of Nagaland has exempted tobacco and its products from the Nagaland Value Added Tax with effect from the 1st day of April 2007. This order of exemption shall remain in force till 31-3-2008 or until it is withdrawn, whichever is earlier.
