Dimapur, May 15 (MExN): The ANSTA, Tobu Unit today asked the concerned authority to immediately depute the SDEO for Tobu sub-division office as it was functioning without one for last three months. The absence of the Sub-Divisional Education Officer is causing lots of hardship for the teachers, stated a press release from P Langphoang President, All Nagaland School Teacher's Association ,Tobu Unit. It further requested the government not to “to post or depute any officer for time being or just for the sake of making that person enjoy the period of retirement at Tobu HQ.” A total of seven SDEOs have been posted in the sub-division during the last clearly indicating the negligence of the department towards the welfare of students' community under SDEO Tobu Town, it added. The unit further ask the concerned authority "to credit the deducted amount for NPS in respective PRAN account and not to victimize the teachers for such a long duration.”
