Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Tokheho Yepthomi on Friday made a fervent appeal to the Naga people to incessantly pray for early solution to the Naga political problem.
“If the Naga issue continues for long, without any hesitation, I would say that Nagas are going to perish,” he said and added that he did not wish to explain in detail.
The State’s lone Lok Sabha MP was speaking at the inauguration programme of Okinawa Scooters showroom located at Chekiye Village opposite Airport Road junction Dimapur.
He lauded the proprietor of the showroom, Khehoshe for bringing pollution free e-scooters to Dimapur.
Tokheho pointed out that the educated youth in other states venture more into private sectors unlike those in Nagaland where the youth look towards getting government jobs. He noted that the state lacks investors owing to peculiar law and order problem.
He encouraged the proprietor to persevere in his venture even though he might have to go through difficulties in the business.
Proprietor, Khehoshe in his keynote address said the e-scooter was eco-friendly, soundless, pollution free and highly economic. In a single charge, the scooter can cover 200km and provides a mileage of 80 km per hour.
The programme was chaired by Rev Dr Shiwoto Assumi, Senior Pastor, Nagaland Christian Revival Church Purana Bazaar, Dimapur.
Later, Tokheho and Rev. Dr. Shiwoto flagged off the e-rickshaws.
