Shokhuvi, September 8 (MExN): The bi-annual meeting of Dimapur TOLIC (Town Official Language Implementation Committee) was conducted online under the Chairmanship of Colonel Rajiv Chaudhary, SM**, Deputy Commandant of ARTC&S on September 7 at ARTC&S, Dimapur.
According to a press release received here, around 40 members of Central Government offices situated in Dimapur attended the meet. Asitkamal, Hindi Officer and Nb Sub (HT) APS Guleria of ARTC&S welcomed all members of the Committee. Various points were discussed for implementing Official Language in the offices.
The progress on implementation of Hindi in various Central Government Offices in Dimapur was analysed by Badri Yadav, Dy Director, Department of Official Language (NER), Guwahati. He applauded the efforts of ARTC&S for conduct of TOLIC Dimapur as well as the member offices for their continuous efforts towards wide publicity of the official language Hindi. During the meeting, importance of progressive use of Hindi in Central Government offices was highlighted. Suggestions and feedback points were invited by the Hindi Officer and the same were discussed in the meet.
Colonel Rajiv Chaudhary, SM**, Deputy Commandant of ARTC&S emphasized upon the importance of use of Hindi language in the offices and requested all members to implement the policies issued by the Government of India. The Chairman also emphasized on motivational measures which can be resorted to for implementation of Hindi by means of incentive and appreciations in all Central Government Offices.
In order to enhance the spirit of healthy competition amongst the offices of Central Government, TOLIC Shield scheme was introduced, in which first three member offices are awarded with shields for the implementation of official Language Policy in a better manner.
Office of the DIG, Group Centre CRPF, Khatkhati, Regional Office FCI, Dimapur and Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Dimapur were awarded first, second and third shield respectively. Range HQ CRPF, Khatkhati (Assam), 173rd Battalion CRPF, Air Field Dimapur, 43 Assam Rifles, Regional Ayurveda Research Centre, Dimapur and Nagaland University were also extended Commendation Certificate for their work done in the field of official language implementation.
