Dimapur, May 14 (MExN): Mar Gregorios Orthodox Syrian (MGOS) Church, Dimapur and St. Thomas Mission Society felicitated the HSLC rank holder and school toppers of MGM Hr. Sec. School (MGMHSS) at the church on May 14. Suhana Begum, HSLC 4th rank holder as well as school toppers in HSSLC Science and Arts streams were felicitated with cash awards and mementos, informed a press release received here. Fr. PS Varghese, Vicar and Principal of MGM Hr. Sec. School reminded that St. Thomas Mission Society will provide all the toppers free education for the coming two years. It was informed that Rs. 48,000 in total was distributed as cash award by the Society. “It's the noble initiative of the Society to enhance quality education,” the release stated. It further said that those who have completed class 12 (Arts) from MGMHSS will be continuing their further studies at MGM College. The felicitation address were delivered by Dr. Manoj Prabhakar, HoD, Department of Management, Nagaland University, Reji Abraham, Principal, SD Jain Hr. Sec. School, VA Jose, President, Kerala Samajam etc. Secretary Shobin Philip proposed vote of thanks.
