PHED felicitates one of the resource persons at the valedictory programme on September 16.

A five day long Training of Trainers (ToTs) on implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) Phase-II concluded here at Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Conference Hall Kohima on September 16.
The training witnessed many sessions where a checklist for facilitation of holding primary meetings, drawing of social maps, household data collection, institutional level assessment of water and sanitation facilities, transect walk on Solid and Liquid waste management, SLWM data collection, various documentation and presentations, on-hand field visits and other logistics for implementation of SBM (G)-II were deliberated.
The culmination programme was chaired by Lhousikhono Zinyü while experience sharing was presented by Abigail Ritse, Sanitation & Hygiene Consultant, Phek district and Akai Sumi, Sanitation & Hygiene Consultant, Zunheboto district.
Thenusou Sekhose, State HRD Consultant, Sanitation & WSSO PHED delivered the valedictory speech on behalf of the department while Laxmikant Shinde, Team Leader, Training & Management gave a remark on the five days training which was followed by distribution of certificates.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Er Ichirangbe Zeliang, Executive Engineer, Sanitation & WSSSO PHED.
