The Leader of Opposition, TR Zeliang is in Delhi. Zeliang, who is also the Convenor of the NPF Political Affairs Mission, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah today. The purpose of the visit was not made known but it comes in the backdrop of the NPF PAM’s recent attempt to facilitate dialogue between the WC NNPGs and NSCN (IM), after parting from the Joint Legislators Forum of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly in August.NPF Spokesperson, Achumbemo Kikon, confirmed the trip to Delhi but declined to disclose details for the time being. “He is in Delhi. I’ll be able to comment only tomorrow. His appointment (with Amit Shah) was today. I will have to speak to him first. Then only I can comment,” said Kikon. Zeliang could not be reached for comment.
