Kohima, March 19 (DIPR): The inaugural programme for first batch of training on capacity building in IT and Digital Services (including digital payments and GST) for Nagaland State government officials will be held at NIELIT Kohima auditorium at 10:30 am on March 20. The programme is being sponsored by the Ministry of DoNER, Government of India and implemented by NIELIT.
Ministry of DoNER is sponsoring the training of 50,000 government employees in 3 years across eight North East States under Capacity Building and Technical Assistance Scheme. The training is aimed at giving impetus to the ongoing Digital India programme launched by the Prime Minister of India in 2015.
The training approach will be ‘Instructor Lead’ training, and the trainees will be provided training kits, certificate and TA/DA (for outstation trainees).
Abino Mor will chair the programme, Visezonuo will say the invocation prayer, while Director, NIELIT, Er. Lanuwabang will deliver the keynote address. After the launching of the training programme and address by the chief guest, Deputy Director, NIELIT, Er. Morimenba Amer will pronounce the vote of thanks.
