Mon, March 19 (MExN): Mon Area Development Programme, a project of World Vision India to prepare the community in the event of any disaster, conducted two-day training for Community Disaster Preparedness Task Forces on early warning, search and rescue of the 21 target villages in collaboration with District Disaster Management Authority, Mon district on March 15 and 16 at Council Hall, Mon Town.
State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Mon led by Kiyekhe (HAV), Khatwang (HAV) and Fire & Emergencies Services Department, Mon led by Tsarose Sangtam (SI) were actively involved to train the Community Disaster Preparedness Task Forces from 21 villages, stated a press release received here.
