Phek, September 21 (MExN): The office of the District Commandant, Home Guards, Civil Defence and State Disaster Response Force, Phek in collaboration with Phek Traffic Police has conducted a one day training course on traffic control on September 18 at Phek town.
This training course aim to enhance coordination and preparedness in managing traffic situations effectively and ensuring public safety and to strengthening community services.
Khuza Jurry, SDPO Phek addressed the introductory session and commended the organizer for the conduct of such training programme.
Imener Yaden, platoon commander, shared the overview and the objective of the training.
UBI Mangtinlum Singson, OC, Phek Police Station talked on road traffic regulation & road safety and Motor Vehicle Act.
Traffic cell team provided both theory and practical classes while Zakhrielie led practical demonstration.
The training programme touched on traffic duties and regulation, traffic signals, road signs, parking and non-parking, accident response, RT set communication etc.
