Training held under Working Woman Project

Dimapur, February 2 (MExN): Altogether 15 women from four SHGs and one co-operative society under the Working Woman Project, Dimapur II were trained to make instant noodle, dried Chinese noodle and dried pasta.


The training held from January 24 to 31 was attended by participants from Senthan SHG – Notun Bosti Lotha Khel; Creative SHG – Viola Colony; Goodwill SHG – Thahekhu village; Mha SHG – Notun Bosti; and Roots Co-operative Society – Indisen Village.


The training was conducted by Zatara Pvt. Ltd, funded by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer’s welfare, GOI; Skill India, Government of India; STRY program under National Institute of Agricultural Extension
Management (MANAGE) and State Agricultural Management& Extension Training Institute (SAMETI), Nagaland.


A press release issued by Zatara stated that the participants were given basic knowledge on food preservation, processing, packaging, FSSAI standards and regulations, branding and marketing of their products by Sentinaro Alley, Washipong Longkumer, Mhonthung Jami and Tia Jamir.
