Training on mechanic skill upgradation held

Dimapur, January 24 (MExN): The department of Agriculture, government of Nagaland attended the mechanic skill upgradation intensive training programme organised in collaboration with STIHL Germany Co & GREAVES Cotton Ltd, Kolkata, India. The training was held from January 10 to 19.  
STIHL is a Germany Company HQ based at Pune India where mini machineries are mostly available and training on chain saw MS-171/MS-180/MS-200/MS-250/MS-350/MS-441 etc and mini reapers (brush cutters) small horse power of petrol version as well as latest technology small and medium machineries.
The resource persons were Pramod, country chief, Anil Engg and Ranjeet Engg. Training on theory and practical were imparted on dealings, management organisation, operational aspects, engines and others. Other resources were A. Guhoray, Manager of Norther East India Chief, Atikari Locky, Sanjoy form GREAVES Cotton Ltd Kolkota India.
The participants from Nagaland included N. Jacob Yanthan, SDO (Store), Dimapur, Vikhaphu, Elithung, Mhonlumo, Shikaho Yentsao Lotha all from agriculture department, Ranjit, general manger of the Co., Livito Sumi and Kenie representing Tilak Aarti Agro Division, Dimapur.
Meanwhile, the SDO (Store) has informed in a press release that machineries are now available with the department of agriculture at Store (LRC, Colony) Dimapur and interested farmers can contact during office hours. Also department mechanics will be available for free service in relation to the machineries.
