Training on children with sensory multiple disabilities

Kohima, April 6 (MExN): A five day training programme on early intervention services for children with sensory multiple disabilities will take place from April 8 to 12 here in the premises of SCERT.

This programme has materialized with the initiative of the Enable Group of Kohima requesting for the said programme through Nagaland Parents Association for Disabled (NAPAD). The National Trust, New Delhi in partnership with Voice and Vision, Mumbai will conduct this programme. The course under this programme includes multiple disability, curriculum development, physio and speech therapy. 

The resource persons include Aabha Doharey and Priyank Bhutani from Sundarlal Jain Hospital, New Delhi, Bipasha from Saksham Daksha, Noida and Sampada Shevde and Kulkarni Adhar from Voice and Vision, Mumbai. Dr. Atha Vizol, State Commissioner, Disability will grace the inaugural function as the chief guest at 10:30 AM on April 8. This was stated in a release issued by NAPAD vice president Daniel Thong Seb.
