Training on Hypertension Disorders in Pregnancy in Mon

Mon, September 10 (MExN): One day training on Hypertension Disorders in Pregnancy (HDP) was held at CMO conference hall, Mon on September 9.

A press release issued by Leeyan Chemshy, Media Officer, NHM, Mon stated that the learning objective is to improve adherence to guideline- based management for HDP and risk identification and initiate risk management.

Dr Vezokholu Theyo, CMO, Mon encouraged the participants to be competent on the subject trained, as it is one of the important topics for a health service provider. She thanked the participants for availing their time for this training and said that there will be another training for those who were not able to attend today.

The training was taken up by the resource person, Dr C Longe Peter, Medical Officer DH, Monstarting with pre-test on the subject. The topics for the training were definition and stratificationof hypertension in pregnancy, blood pressure measurement technique, classification of HDP, assessment of HDP, risk reduction for preeclampsia and other complications on HDP and eclampsia.

The training was followed by post-test and discussion hour.
