Training on Pediatric Care in COVID-19 for ASHAs in Mokokchung district started at Mangkolemba block on August 18. The training is for preparedness of any sudden surge of COVID care in the pediatric age group. It will be held cluster-wise in the remaining blocks and conclude on August 30. Chief Medical Officer office, Mokokchung in a press note stated that ASHAs will be trained on the danger signs, surveillance, signs & symptoms of COVID-19 in pediatric age group, prevailing myths related to COVID-19 in children, roles and responsibilities of ASHA in the community.
