Training on service rules, account matters & photography in Kohima

Kohima, October 12 (MExN): The Directorate of Information & Public Relations, Nagaland organised a two-day capacity building training on service rules, account matters and photography at IPR Conference Hall, Kohima. The training will conclude on October 13.

A DIPR report stated that the training was organised with the aim to better equip the ministerial staff and the field staff with the latest working procedures to ensure that the working system in the department becomes more efficient.

The trainees on the first day of training, which included the ministerial staff of the department from all the district offices, were briefed by the resource persons on a number of subjects like office procedures, service books, account matters, pension matters and e-pay bill system.

The resource persons were mostly the senior staff of the Directorate who had over the years gained invaluable experience and were up to date with the latest working system of the government.

The second day of training is for the photographers of the department and would be a refresher photography course for the trainees. The trainees would also get the opportunity to learn to use the latest equipment and learn techniques to improvise and better themselves in the art of photography.
