Resource persons and others during training programme on fire safety measures at Tuensang.
Kohima, September 21 (MExN): The District Institute of Education & Training, Tuensang in collaboration with Fire & Emergency Services, Tuensang, conducted a “Training Program on Fire Safety and Measures” on September 18.
The programme, coordinated by EVS/SS Cell of DIET, Tuensang, was joined by teaching faculties and second year student-teachers of D.El.Ed.
Hayang Chang, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), briefed the participants on thetypes and uses of fire extinguisher.
Imti Chingmak, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) talked on handling of LPG cylinders and preventive measures.
The programme also witnessed practical demonstration by personnel of Fire and Emergency Services.
The programme was chaired by Thüpuveyo, Lecturer, DIET while vote of thanks was proposed by Grace K Semy, Lecturer, DIET.
