Dimapur, July 22 (MExN): ATMA-Dimapur Kuhuboto Block conducted training and demonstration on ‘Water Conservation & Utilisation’ at Tokhugha Village on July 22. Resource person for the programme was Akavi Holo, BTM (ATMA), Kuhuboto Block. Holo firstly presented the method of water conservation such as rain water harvesting where he defines as a collection, storing and utilisation at a later point. It can be purified to make it into drinking water, utilised for daily application such as washing, bathing, cooking, watering the garden etc. He also encouraged the farmer to learn how to conserve water because water is the most essential needs of everyday life. FIG/SHG by the name Kuqha Kulu was also formed at Tokugha village.
