Transformation Crusade III: Spiritual revival reinforced

Kohima, January 13 (MExN): The stage has been set up for the third phase of transformation crusade starting from January 15 till 26, 4:00 pm at Khuochiezie Local Ground, Kohima. Speaking at a media briefing of the crusade, convenor of the organising committee, Khouo Yaotsu, reflected on the 70's revival. He related how the movement failed to produce much bigger results due to lack of proper knowledge in sustaining the movement, in addition to mixed responses of people, including mockeries. He opined that the movement could have borne more fruits had the people been receptive to it and acknowledged the ones who brought forth the movement.

Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Sr. Pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church stating the purpose of the crusade as to bring revival in Kohima said, "The Transformation crusade first and foremost started with the purpose of dealing with satanism with a desire and prayer that evil may not engulf Kohima." He said many have been delivered, yet the influence still goes on. "The crusade will deal the issue of influence of western culture on the moral lives of the present generation," he added.

Pastor Shan Kikon, Faith Harvest Church, Kohima in his briefing stated, "Last year's crusade was a success, and I believe in the awakening and work of the Holy Spirit among the people of Nagaland the hunger and desire for the word should be higher.” The crusade, he said, is for the people of Nagaland, people from all walks of life and all religions. "Satanism comes in different forms, even our old time animism has traces of occult worship, however in recent times, the influence of western Satanism which is a deeper form of Satanism has been on a high," he opined.

Rev D. L. Sanchu, Executive Secretary, ACRCC expressed hope that the crusade would help in “implanting the word” to the hearts of Christians who live as Christians because they were Christians by birth.

Sharing his experience, Ruokuolhoulie Solo, Pastor, Flames of Fire Church recollected how in 2009, he had started his interactions with Satanic worshippers; counselling them and preaching about deliverance from Satanism through his studies on demonology.  He also related an incident on how on the evening of December 25, a “satanic worshipper” had come to their church and warned them not to hold the crusade.

A girl of Class 10, who was a former satanic worshipper also gave her testimonial on how after flunking her eighth standard during her time of depression, she entered into the group after a shadow visited her one night inviting her to join them. She related on how she used astral projections during her Satanism days.

The main speakers for the third phase of the crusade are Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, Pastor Shan Kikon, Rev. D.L. Sanchu, Rev. Vevozo Khamo, Executive Secretary, CCRCC and Pastor Ruokuolhoulie Solo.
