Dimapur, October 27 (MExN): Under the theme, ‘Arise and Shine’ (Isaiah 60:1), a ‘Transformation Crusade’ kick started at Local Ground, Chozuba Town on October 25.
On the inaugural evening, Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Senior Pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church said that many will come to Christ through the crusade.
The second day of the crusade on October 26 was held with hundreds of believers in attendance.
Speaking on the occasion, Velavoyi Keyho, Pastor, Phezoucha Nagamese Baptist Church stated that God is the one who still heals and delivers and he is always ready to answer to one’s prayers if a person has faith in him.
On the third day, Rokopra Mekro, Asst. Pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church, Kohima spoke on forgiveness of sins. He stated forgiveness comes only from God and is not 'for sale but free'. Forgiveness only comes from Jesus who died for our sins and it is through his grace that we receive it, he added.
The fourth day will have Mezhusevi Zutso, writer and preacher & Literature Secretary to NCRCC as the speaker at 5:00 pm.
The Transformation Crusade, which began in 2013 in Kohima, is touring all districts of Nagaland. So far, it has covered Kohima, Dimapur, Phek, Wokha.
The present crusade in Chozuba sub-division is organised by the Chozuba Area Baptist Church Council (CABCC). The crusade will continue till Sunday and the Transformation team has urged every citizen to attend the services and receive blessings of God.
