Traveling between Kohima & Dimapur to become costlier

Dimapur, May 11 (MExN): Travelling between the commercial capital Dimapur and state capital Kohima is set to get costlier from June 1 with the taxi Association planning to increase passenger’s fare by Rs. 30.  

The All Nagaland Taxi Association Dimapur Unit in press release notified the general public that due to hike in fuel price and the condition of roads, the Association has decided to hike the taxi fare from current Rs. 220 to Rs. 250 per passenger. The new fare will come into effect from June 1. It further requested the general public to “kindly bear with the Association.”
