Dimapur, April 24 (MExN): The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) will hold selection trials of the junior boys’ basketball team at two venues in Dimapur and Kohima.
The selected players from the trials will represent Nagaland in the upcoming 74th Junior National Basketball Championship scheduled from May 8-14 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
In Dimapur, the trials will be held on April 26 at JVF Basketball Court, Signal Angami from 3pm onwards while Don Bosco HSS Basketball Court will host the trials on April 27, 2024 from 2pm onwards in Kohima.
In a press release, the NBA has informed all players to report for trials with full kit along with original birth certificates and Aadhaar card.
As per the Basketball Federation of India, only those born on or after 01.01.2006 are eligible to participate in the trials, the Association said.
The players should ensure that their birth certificates had been obtained in the year of their birth or within 5 years of their birth, it added.
