Tritons CC and LCYO enter T20 WCC finals

Wokha, January 16 (MExN): In the first semifinal match of the ongoing T20 WCC, the Royal Strikers Tsumang took against the Tritons CC Mokokchung on January 16.

Winning the toss, Tritons CC Mokokchung decided to field first. Batting the Riyal Strikers Tsumang made a target of 102 runs in 18.2 over losing all wickets. Lima thing Ngullie 19 runs, Ayush Agarwal 13 runs, Renben Murry 16 runs and Renben Shitiri 10 runs for Royal Strikers Tsumang.

Neehal of Tritons CC claimed 3 wickets in four over 23 runs, Mrimor Dutta 3 wickets in 3.2 over 10 runs and Arjun Kumar, Bidesh Nayak (one maiden), Vezale (one maiden) claimed a wicket respectively.

Tritons CC Mokokchung in the form of Fahim Ahmed 19 runs, Nripen 26 runs and Arjun Kumar 25 runs took the team to victory by 4 wickets in 17.5 over, where Arjun Kumar was adjudged the Man of the Match award.

In the second match which was played between EYL Vs LCYO, the former won the toss and decided to bat first. Renjanthung collect 49 runs, Epithung 28 runs and Ajen Patton 14 runs collected to reach the team total target of 126 in 20 over losing seven wickets.

Karthick of EYL in four over 25 runs claimed three wickets; Chumchamo in four over took 2 wickets 25 runs, while Alamo and Anand Basumatry claimed a wicket each. Renjamo 23 runs, Tsenpon Murry 22 runs and Anan Basumatry 14 runs could not help the team to secure and we’re all out in 17.6 over with just 102 runs. Ajen of EYL claimed three wickets, David Yanthan and Chonbenthung claimed two wickets each and Thechamo collect a wicket. LCYO registered victory in 17.6 over by 23 runs and the man of the match was claimed by Renjanthung Tungoe.

The final match will be played against Tritons CC Mokokchung Vs LCYO on January 17. An exhibition match will be also played between DC Wokha XI Vs SNK President XI. The benefits from the match and amount collected will for the Oting victim families, informed by SNK the organisers of WCC.
