Morung Express News Dimapur | July 20 In a major liquor haul, Dimapur Police seized a truckload of assorted IMFL on July 19 around 8:15 pm near New Dhansiri Bridge. OC of Dimapur East PS, Bendang Wati Ao informed media persons that a total of 1195 cases of assorted IMFL worth approximately Rs.16,46,000 in wholesale market were seized. The OC said based on specific information, a team of police from East Police Station rushed to the spot and seized the loaded truck bearing registration number NL-01-A-6385 along with the driver and the handyman. The driver, Sanju Supha (26) and his handyman, Vijay Kuala (18) were heading towards Kohima from Assam. The two arrested persons have been remanded to 48-hour judicial custody. The OC said the seized IMFL will be handed over to the administration for destruction. A case has been registered at Dimapur East Police Station.
