From the very beginning of the current talk between the GoI and the NSCN (I-M), I have been saying and writing the same thing that all of the people should support the talk to be successful for the good of all. In the context of the situation, it is true love for the Nagas and before God and there is no alternative. Hatred, bitterness and seeking self-prestige should be flushed out from the heart and seek justice to be done. It is better to heal than to wound.
All of the grown up men and women have experienced that the consequence of the first talk between the GoI and the FGN being a failure was horrible. It is needless to mention the lengthy stories.
After 30 years that is from 1964-1997 the second talk between the GoI and the NSCN (I-M) was started and the talk continues inconclusive. The current talk is being led by another Political Group known as NSCN (I-M). But all political Groups are together on board of the same ship, sacrificing their lives together for the same cause and to score the same goal.
The failure of any Group is to be regretted by all and the success of each Group belongs to all. The fruit of their failure or success will affect all of the Nagas. So all should contribute their best towards the cause.
If the ongoing talk is sabotaged to be a failure, any Political Organization or the general public cannot save the situation for any length of time. It is destructive and unchristian conscience which will do more harm than good to the people. “Search me, o God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” (Ps 139:23-24)
