The Truenat machine was dedicated at the District Hospital Wokha on June 12.
Wokha, June 12 (MExN): A dedication programme for the Truenat testing machine at Wokha District Hospital was held on June 12.
The programme was chaired by Dr CW Tungoe who stated that the district was fortunate to have the TrueNat machine during this COVID-19 crisis. Wokha Deputy Commissioner and District Task Force Chairman, Orenthung Lotha highlighted on the user friendly aspect of the machine and dedicated the TrueNat machine to the people of Wokha on behalf of the DTF.
He also stressed on the need to test all the returnees and the medical fraternity on COVID-19 duty in the district. Dr Nzanthung Lotha, Pathologist informed that the machine was installed on June 7 and has become functional after registration from ICMR. A total of 17 samples have been taken so far in the district to be tested through TrueNat machine, he added. Rev. Abemo Jungio, Pastor Wokha Town Baptist Church pronounced the dedicatory prayer.
