
Tseminyu, JANUARY 12 (MExN): Tseminyu District Cricket, under the Nagaland Cricket Association, successfully conducted a T20 Inter-Club Cricket Tournament from January 8 to 11 at the RSA ground.
Six teams representing various clubs participated in the four-day event. Tseminyu Village Crusaders claimed the championship title, while Ziphenyu Cricket Club finished as the runners-up.
Ntsenlo Semp of Tseminyu Village Crusaders stood out as the Player of the Tournament, scoring 208 runs and taking five wickets. Henwalo Lorin of TDC XI and Solomon Mesung of Ziphenyu Cricket Club were the highest wicket-takers, with eight wickets each.
The organizers extended their gratitude to umpires Khesu K from the Kiphire District Cricket Association and Romokhon Humtsoe from the Wokha District Cricket Association for officiating the matches. Appreciation was also expressed to all teams, officials, and supporters for their contributions to the tournament’s success.
