Tseminyu Org flay bad mobile services

Dimapur, October 15 (MExN): The Nagaland Voluntary Consumers' Organization Tseminyu Town Unit today informed that not a single service provider is able to provide satisfactory mobile service in Tseminyu area.

“The mobile service providers- BSNL, Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone etc are not providing quality services to the citizens of Tseminyu Town and its surrounding Areas, maintained the NCVO Tseminyu Town Unit in a press note from its president John Semy.

There are constant fluctuations in the signal strength and in most cases the voice is not heard, it said. The most truant is the BSNL. Since the beginning of 2017, there has been hardly a week when its tower works continuously, it added.

While the other service providers like Airtel claim that it is providing 4G service, it is available only once in a blue moon, the Unit further maintained.

In this regard, the NVCO Unit requested that all the mobile service providers in and around the Tseminyu Town area to improve the quality of mobile service to the citizens as they have the right to good quality services.

Moreover, the Government of India has also laid down penalty for call drop and other deficiencies, it added.
