KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 15 (MExN): Tseminyu block has been recommended as the ‘Aspirational Block’ for Kohima District. The decision was taken during the monthly Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting which was held at DPDB’s Conference Hall, Kohima on February 15. According to a DIPR report, the meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS, reviewed the decision of State’s Cabinet to identify one block as aspirational block from each district from last meeting. After deliberation and further taking into account the proposal submitted by the RD Department, the House decided to recommend it to the Government for further necessary action, it said.
