Dimapur, January 16 (MExN): Along with the rest of the Yimkhiungrüs across the state, Shamator Town Thüneo committee organized Tsüngkam Neo on January 16.
According to a DIPR report received here, special guest S Yanba wished a joyous celebration of the festival and a prosperous year ahead. The significance of the festival was shared by Dokiu Kecham, a public leader.
The DIPR also stated that Y Anner, the oldest village in the district, also celebrated Tsüngkam Neo festival with a prayer from Pastor Pintsü and a message from K Yimtokiu, the Head GB.
The village council also organized competitions such as volleyball, traditional songs and dances and top spinning, it informed.
