Tsütuonuomia Sekrenyi Inter Peli Rüzhü 2025 held

The Tsütuonuomia Sekrenyi Inter Peli Rüzhü 2025 took place today at Rüzienu, T. Khel, Kohima Village under the aegis of Tsütuonuomia Peli Union (TPU) and Tsütuonuomia Youth Organization (TSU) and hosted by Peli 18 Khrie Lozi.

Gracing the event as the special guest, Charlie Sekhose, chairman, Tsütuonuomia Union Kuda and Senior Vice President, Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) commended the organizers for bringing the different Peli (Peer Group) together to celebrate and uphold the rich culture and traditions of the Angami Nagas through merry making and healthy competition in traditional games.

He pointed out that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio, has placed a significant emphasis on preservation and promotion of the rich culture and traditions to keep the unique history and identity of the Nagas alive.

For this, he called upon the people to celebrate and honour the legacy of the forefathers. Sharing Sekrenyi greetings, K Neibou Sekhose, Chairman, T Khel Council called upon the people to celebrate the festival in a meaningful way and take it as a source of goodwill and prosperity.

Visasielie Suohu, chairman, T Khel Peli Union delivered welcome address and called for active and constructive participation of Peli in the union activities.

The programme was compered by Mhasisetuo Solo and Kiyakhrienuo Solo. Seyiekhrietuo Sekhose, Deacon, Khedi Baptist Church invoked God’s blessings. Mhaletuonuo Suohu & Co. presented folk song while Dzieseneituo Belho, Vice Chairman, T. Khel Peli Union proposed vote of thanks.

The shooting (10 M Air Rifles) competition was officiated by Kohima District Rifle Association.
