Dimapur, March 5 (MExN): NSCN (R) Akato Chophi group has conveyed ‘Tsukhenye’ festival greetings to the Chakhesang Nagas. “On the first morning of the Tsukhenye, the village elder sacrifices a rooster, and the men folk partake in purification ritual by bathing in designated river/stream/well early in the morning,” the group MIP stated in a press note. It conveyed firm belief that through “this festival, our Chakhesang brothers and sisters will continue to shine in every aspect and bring about peace and tranquility amongst us.”
