The Chang Wedoshi Setshang (CWS) inaugurated its integrated library at CWS office in Tuensang on Saturday (October 15).

Ebou Naset, General Secretary, CWS in his address mentioned that the integrated library consists of book sections, visual and audio compartment. He stated that to promote reading culture, the library aims to provide books and reference for the competitive exams, leisure time reading. It also provides video and audio facilities to preserve the culture, important and scenic landscapes through documentation. Folk songs and folklores documents are also being provided.

Vishal Chauhan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Tuensang was invited as the special guest for the event. Officials and members of Chang Khulei Setshang, Chang Gazetted Officers’ Association, Chief Manager, State Bank of India, Tuensang, Chang Students’ Union Tuensang Town, Principal, Loyem Memorial College, Tuensang, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Thangjam, Tuensang, book clubs and others were present in the event.
The dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Rev Achu Chang, Executive Secretary, Chang Baptist Lashong Thangyen, Tuensang meanwhile the special guest unveiled the certificate of inauguration.

Speeches were also delivered by SP Tuensang and Principal, GHSS Thangjam, Tuensang.
