Dimapur, November 28 (MExN): The Tuensang District Football Association has announced the scheduling of the TDFA Cup which will commence fromDecember 3 onwards at Loyem Memorial Astro Turf ground, Tuensang under the theme “Emolous.”
According to a press release issued by Moses Hongang Chang, Press & Info Secretary of TDFA, Kezhaleo Rulho, Class – I Contractor from Kohima has been invited to grace the opening ceremony as the special guest. Furthermore, it was mentioned that three guest players will be allowed to participate in the tournament as long as they are an indigenous inhabitant of Nagaland.
The champions of TDFA Cup will receive a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000,while the runners up will receive Rs 50,000 along with certificates and medals for both teams. For individual awards such as best goalkeeper, best defender, best midfielder, highest scorer and player of the tournament will player will receive Rs 2500.
It was also informed that registration forms can be collected at Olympic Dealer, Tuensang and Sports Point, High School B Tuensang for Rs 3000 each.
