Tuensang DPDB meeting discuses renovation of Sao Chang College

Tuensang, December 13 (MExN): The District Planning and Development Board Tuensang convened its monthly meeting cum Advent Christmas programme under the Chairmanship of Imtichuba, MLA and Chairman DPDB Tuensang at Thangki, Noksen Sub Division on December 13.

A DIPR report stated that the key recommendations and decisions were renovation of Sao Chang College Tuensang. The Board recommended the renovation of Sao Chang College, addressing certain infrastructure development needs, including a Science lab on campus. This initiative aims to support the successful implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 at the college.

The Board endorsed the proposal for the upgrading of the Sub Town Council at Noksen Town, with the recommendation forwarded to SDO(C) Noksen. The Board forwarded a proposal to the concerned department for the creation of an Agriculture and Land Resources office at Noksen Town. The Board recommended the electrification of Mokden Farm at Longra Village to enhance agricultural activities in the region. The Board recommended the construction of an iron suspension bridge to connect Lithem and Longkong Village.

The Advent Christmas programme was chaired by LithronglaTongpiRutsa, Deputy Commissioner Tuensang. Christmas greetings were extended by Imtichuba, MLA, and Chairman DPDB, and Y. Lima Onen Chang, MLA. Christmas messages were delivered by Rev. Achu Chang, ES, CBLT Tuensang.
