Tuensang: Yuva Utsav conducted at Sao Chang College

Tuensang, March 22 (MExN): The Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) Tuensang under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, GOI in Collaboration with the District Administration Tuensang and Soa Chang College Tuensang organized a one-day mega event of Yuva Utsav at Sao Chang College, Tuensang on March 15. 

A DIPR report stated that the programme commenced with an invocation by Dr Kenito Kath Assistant Professor SCC, welcome and keynote address by Kishore Barman District Youth Officer NYKS Tuensang, where he highlighted the main objective of the programme under the theme ‘PANCH PRAN and India@2047’ and also about the G20 Presidency and its theme '’VasudhaivaKutumbakam’ or ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future.’

Special Guest of the event Zerutso Kesiezie, EAC Tuensang emphasized the importance of youths in Nation development and how youth can play a pivotal role in Nation building activities. He highlighted the focus of 'PANCH PRAN and India@2047' where the main aim will be to achieve the goal to develop India and to remove any trace of slavery or colonial mindset, taking pride in our heritage and legacy, unity and solidarity, and also the vision of India @2047 where he gave an insight to various government youth eccentric scheme to empower India youth and pave the way to achieved the India@2047 vision.

The programme was followed by a poetry competition, declamation, painting, photography, and cultural presentations where the winners will participate at the state level.
