Tuli, May 12 (MExN): A meeting regarding the ongoing Foothill Road project and the proposed extension of the road corridor beyond the existing 10-metre Right of Way (ROW) was held at Dobashis Court, Tuli Sub-division, Mokokchung on May 11.
As per the DIPR report, the meeting was convened following directives from the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, and saw the participation of representatives from the Tuli Area Foothill Road Land Owners Association, Village Council Chairmen and Secretaries of Kangtsung, Kangtsungyimsen, Wameken, Wamekenyimsen, and Anaki, along with other stakeholders from the sub-division.
During the meeting, participants deliberated on matters pertaining to the ongoing Foothill Road project, particularly focusing on the proposal for extension and widening of the road corridor beyond the existing 10-metre Right of way (ROW). Various concerns and suggestions from landowners and village representatives were also discussed to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
The meeting concluded with assurances of continued consultation with all stakeholders in the interest of public welfare and infrastructural development in the region.
